How long does the visit to Clos de Vougeot take?

One hour: the self-guided visit

The route is signposted and can be done without a guide: courtyard of honor, winery with its four presses, Grand Cellar, lay brothers' dormitory, Renaissance kitchens, Petit Cellar with the film, and gift shop. One hour is enough, including the film, and this is the pace I recommend for those with a train or tour afterward.

Two hours: with a guide

Guided tours depart at fixed times, by reservation, in groups of up to twenty people: in French at 10:30, 14:30, and 16:30; in English at 11:30 and 15:30. With the gift shop, allow one and a half to two hours on site. Note the last entry is one hour before closing: full opening hours are on opening hours and tickets.

Half a day, a full day

Lunch at La Table de Léonce lasts three hours and includes the guided tour. The walk through the vineyards departing from Beaune takes two hours and thirty minutes. The half-day tour from Dijon takes five hours, the Côte de Beaune tour takes four hours, and the full-day tour departing from Beaune takes eight hours and thirty minutes, returning around 17:45.
